It was kinda a good start for us this year because all of us appeared on 1st of Jan for the celebration of New Year and also for Cutie’s big day. Cutie decided to keep her profile low so she suggested a steamboat dinner at Jolly’s place. It wasn’t just a small steamboat dinner k, it was massive. The amount of food was kia-si-lang. I remembered I took pictures of them but dunno where they are now. Nvm, I will list them down:
BALLS:
Sotong balls
Fish balls
Meat balls
Chicken balls
Beef balls
Prawn balls
Pork balls (EH! NO PORK ah I tell u!)
STICKS:
Fish fingers
Sausages
Crab sticks
Otak-otak
Chicken sticks
MEATS:
Lamb
Chicken
Fish
Beef
Prawn
There were others like noodles, all kinds of mushrooms, tom-yam soup, chicken soup and vegetables etc. Wuah, big eaters!

The moment Cutie was waiting for:

Notice Cutie’s big hairstyle? YENG!

Anyway the highlight of the night was when all of us were busy sewing, cutting and designing. Cutie gave us big headaches when she sponsored us T-shirts and asked us to DIY. The best DIY shirt will receive a surprise gift from her. She even drew some nice pictures on the front of the shirts.
Bubbles started their tailoring job by cutting, sewing, stitching, matching and measuring. Some already knew what they wanted so they worked like professional tailor; some cut and cut and cut with a big frown on their face; some had a hard time measuring and matching the accessories; some watched with amusement only.
There was too little space and time for us all to finish our creations. So Cutie gave us another 2 weeks period! Yay…
Cutie said wanna post pictures of our creations in the blog but she didn’t. SAD…

Off to our CNY dinner at Restaurant Seafood 23 (I forgot the full name of the restaurant) in PJ. Again, we found ourselves ordering more than we could ever eat.

We were not wasting food ok. We reached the place at 7 something and it was packed, really packed those kinds. Some tables were complaining bout the delay of their food. Our tummies were already grumbling. We even finished up the entrées within seconds. See?

So without realizing wat she was doing, Jolly ordered

this

this

And this

And this

And this

And this

And also this

We finished 100% of the first few dishes, later 80%, then 50%, then 30% and finally the beehoon was almost untouched. Our purpose was to go lou sang but our tummies were crying out for ENO liao. So we gave up.

Cutie came back from her China trip and she gave us lovely presents such as hair clippers, watches, keychains and chocolates. There were two winners for the DIY competition which were Groovy and Cool. Ahhahha…

Oh, notice the bubbles’ change of hairstyle for the year 2007?

Sassy just couldn’t call it a night after our scrumptious dinner so we headed to a pub in Subang to lighten up. Unfortunately the live band wasn’t there tat night. The waiters and waitresses were nearly smacking flies. Kinda a good thing for us coz we could laugh and play like siao char bos without anyone glaring at us. We got excellent service too! We ordered one bottle of Vodka and they gave us four different liquids to mix and match.

Later we played guessing games with cards. Those who guessed wrongly had to drink a sip of their liquor.

Then the game got more exciting and we aimed for half a cup…

Finally, things had gotten out of control when Sassy ordered another bottle of Vodka. We switched to the Indian poker game. The person with the lowest number must drink the hard liquor “prepared” by the others. Cool was the suey-est of them all – her new nickname Si-Beh-Suey.

We actually finished the second bottle of Vodka but the consequences?

Asked Cool wanna drink again? She said…
