Trip of the Year 2006(4)

~~~The Monkey Business~~~
After having our buffet lunch in the big dining hall (I wonder why nobody took pictures of the dining hall), we checked into our rooms. There were 4 single beds, a TV and a small balcony overlooking the luscious swimming pool and Jacuzzi.
Few bubbles jumped into the Jacuzzi to relax, few rested in the rooms and few sunbathed near the pool. Actually Posh was the only one who sunbathed…together with a nakedMACHO guy… Posh was trying to get his attention, hahhah, sorry Brandon…
More people crowded the beach in the evening coz of the nice weather. We could spot people playing Frisbee, swimming in the ocean, posing in front of the cameras and couples strolling along the beach. Bubbles too didn't miss out and carried on another session of beach volleyball except Jolly, Cutie, Groovy and Vince.
There were spectators naturally. This guy was standing nearby watching the bubbles played the entire time.
Bubbles splashing around in the ocean after playing…
There was also a short session of line dancing on the beach guided by one of the staffs. Many people joined and they danced happily to songs like Macarena, Lambada, Ketchup Song etc…
Dinner time! There was so much food, from Chinese to Western, from Malay to Indian and even from Thai to Vietnamese. Jolly loved the watermelons so much till she finished the whole plate. The kind staffs helped us to fill up our water bottles though we were restricted to do so.
After dinner, the live band started in front of the main reception and people flowed out to enjoy the music. We decided to go to the Karaoke lounge but unfortunately we must pay if we bring in our own drinks. Money sucker! So we headed out to the beach instead, borrowed few cups and bought some ice from the bar.
The night view…
Oh, it was in the middle of the World Cup fever. There was a big screen in the main hall showing 22 men chasing and kicking one ball whereas there were 30 men with 60 balls watching it.
It was a cloudy night so we could hardly see the moon and stars. Just when we were finishing lining up the beach chairs (those are really heavy chairs), it began to drizzle. NO CHOICE. We moved our drinks to the shelter where there were chairs and tables around. The moment we settled down, the rain stopped. #%&*#&! Anyway, we still remained at the shelter in case it would rain again.
As the rain had stopped, few of us laid out on the beach chairs to enjoy the light breeze, listen to the soft lapping waves and watch the twinkle stars. The others were playing games at the shelter where their piercing laughter rang out every minute. Sorry, I don't know how to describe the game. Nonetheless, everyone was waiting patiently for the time to come, the time to launch our EXTREMELY IMPORTANT mission (I purposely left this mission out in the list so that there's no spoiler)…
As the clock struck 12, one bubble lit up brightly like torchlight in the dark jungle (not Lumina). It wasn't her highlighted golden hair; it wasn't her white shining teeth; it wasnt her bright yellow sweater, it was the.......... light from the candles on a sponge cake in front of her.
The bubble choir: Happy birthday to u, happy birthday to u, happy birthday to Spiky, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to U!
Gift presentation…
Cheers to Spiky!
We decided to feed Spiky the cake and things getting out of control…
Spiky confused with the present we gave her.
We fooled her tat day by giving her a bunch of postcards but actually her real present was waiting for her at home.
Mission accomplished!
To be continued X3
